This car sounded good on paper…it was a one owner car maintained very well…so we thought…the first night I had it, the alternator went out and stranded me and four of my friends about 10 miles from my parents’ house. Then it continually made a clattering noise in the engine when I drove it. We had the engine rebuilt the month I went to college…then two years later it was doing the same thing, valve lifters were clattering when I would drive it. There was also a black goo that leaked from the rear window and one time, when I was driving it to Houston, the horn would randomly blow when I turned the wheel to make a turn. I was glad to see the last of that car in 1987 after having it for four years!
